Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, affectionately known as Pigs x7, emerged as a British stoner metal powerhouse in Newcastle upon Tyne back in 2012. With their striking debut album “Feed the Rats” released in 2017 under the UK label Rocket Recordings, the band quickly garnered attention, earning a spot on The Guardian’s list of “top 40 newcomers” in 2018. Their second album “King of Cowards” was received as an “epic and sprawling record” by The Quietus, solidifying their status as a force to be reckoned with in the psych rock, heavy metal, doom metal, and noise rock genres.
In their musical pursuits, they find solace and creative expression in the confines of guitarist Sam Grant‘s studio, aptly named “Blank Studios”. Their latest album titled “Land of Sleeper” is characterised by its punishing and loud energy and showcases its forceful and relentless spirit in tracks like “Ultimate Hammer,” where guitars, bass, and drums harmoniously collide and charge forward with an unstoppable momentum.
