For the first time ever, Bear Stone Festival is going cashless at the festival site!
This year, every wristband will come equipped with a chip that you’ll be able to top up and use for payments at festival bars, food vendors and official Bear Stone merch.
Top-up points will accept both cash and credit cards, which means your wristband is still your wristband, only now it also happens to be slightly more useful than before.
Until now, Bear Stone has been a cash-only festival for one very simple, very canyon-shaped reason: we are located by the river Mrežnica, surrounded by nature, rocks, trees, water and a heroic lack of signal.
Bear Stone remains an offline festival in spirit and in signal bars, but with this upgrade we hope to make the everyday festival experience smoother, faster and more comfortable for everyone.
A small but important note: bars, food vendors and official Bear Stone merch will be cashless only, while band merch and the marketplace will still operate in cash, so plan accordingly if you want to support the bands directly or go treasure hunting at the market.
Top-ups will be available both at the festival accreditation point and inside the festival site, so you can arrive, sort yourself out and get back to the important business of music, river, friends, food and trying to remember where you left your sunglasses.

A one-time €3 activation fee will be charged with your first top-up. This fee helps us cover the cost of the RFID wristband and the cashless payment system infrastructure.
Once topped up, your wristband can be used for payments at all festival bars, restaurants, and the festival merch booth. Please note that the festival marketplace and band merch remain cash-only.
Refunds are available at the festival top-up point which is located next to the festival merch booth during its opening hours, until Monday, July 6 at 12:00.
